Replacement Conservatory Roofs

After years of working in the industry we have perfected many tried and tested methods for achieving the look and feel you want to the budget you have set. To do this we have developed a number of different ways of repairing and replacing your conservatory roof whilst maintaining the highest of quality and workmanship. Polycarbonate is the most popular choice for conservatory roof glazing purely because of the price. Polycarbonate is an excellent alternative to glass but is a fraction of the cost. Polycarbonate has come a long way in recent years as technology has improved. Modern polycarbonate has a multi-wall structure increasing its insulation properties which can then be greatly enhanced by our high performance solar reflective inserts. Polycarbonate is available in Clear, Bronze and Opal and in 16mm, 25mm 32mm, 35mm and 40mm varieties.

Replacing the Panels

There are many reasons why you may wish to replace your existing conservatory panels, maybe there has been storm damage or they are just getting old and discoloured. Is your conservatory leaking? Perhaps you would just like to replace them for a modern and more insulating version. Replacing the conservatory roof panels will create a dramatic visual improvement as well as increase the over all quality and performance of your roof. Not only will it be stronger but as technology has progressed over the years you will have much better insulation values so replacement panels will also save you energy and keep heating costs to a minimum.

Rafter Supported Glazing System (Only available with a sound existing wooden roof structure)

If the roof components have become brittle with age, are no longer functioning as they should be, or are just looking unsightly, then we can replace those for you too. Our Aluminium powder coated glazing cappings (with clip in bead to seal and cover screw fixings) are fitted to an existing wooden structure which then supports then glazing on your conservatory roof. This is an excellent way of updating the look of your roof, and is available in white and brown.

Self Supporting Glazing Bar System

Self supporting glazing bar systems enable us to install a conservatory roof with no existing supporting wooden roof structure. This is because the reinforced aluminium glazing bars are capable of supporting the glazing weight on their own. This is an excellent option if you would like a current self supporting system replaced, have a current wooden structure that is rotten or if you would prefer to remove a current wooden structure in order to create a more spacious and light feel to your conservatory. We can offer this system for lenghs spanning up to 5.4m and they are also available in white and brown.

Bespoke Design Replacement Conservatory Roof

Bespoke K2, Ultra Frame, and Quantal Replacement Conservatory Roof
These roofs are custom built to fit your conservatory by leading roof manufacturers K2, Ultra frame or Quantal. A detailed survey of your conservatory is conducted and the measurements and angles are passed onto the manufacturer depending on your individual requirements. The roof and all of its components are then cut to size in their factory and the entire roof is then built on the shop floor. It is then disassembled and sent to us ready to be fit to your roof with all of the screw holes etc all pre-drilled as the roof has already been built. This means that the roof is incredibly precise enabling ease of fitting and eliminates the chance of leaks. This is the perfect option for larger more complicated roofs that need replacing. This is of course more costly than just replacing the panels and components but the finish is excellent resulting in a dramatic transformation.
